Price
The price of the camp is determined according to the registration date and the price stated on the Junior Startup Academy Finland website at the time of registration.
The stated price is the final price payable by the consumer and includes applicable VAT.
The price includes:
- a five-day guided camp programme;
- a warm lunch and snack on each camp day;
- materials, software and AI tools used during the camp;
- a Junior Startup Academy certificate and participant materials; and
- four guest tickets for family members or friends to attend the Friday Demo Day event.
Registration
Registration for the camp must be completed by the child's parent or legal guardian.
The camp has a limited number of participant places. Places are allocated based on registrations for as long as places remain available.
Following registration, the parent or guardian will receive an immediate confirmation of their reserved place. The official invoice will be sent via email within 1 to 5 business days, locking in the price tier active on the date of registration.
The camp fee must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice and before the camp begins.
If the payment has not been received by the due date, the organiser may, after contacting the parent or guardian, release the camp place to another participant.
Cancellations
A confirmed registration is binding.
If the child is unable to participate in the camp due to illness or injury, the parent or guardian may choose to have the camp fee:
- refunded; or
- transferred to the next Junior Startup Academy Finland Hiihtoloma Camp, provided that such a camp is organised.
A refund or transfer requires a medical certificate confirming that the child is unable to participate in the camp for health-related reasons. The certificate does not need to state the child's diagnosis.
The organiser should be notified as soon as possible in the event of illness or any other circumstance preventing participation.
Otherwise, the paid camp fee will not be refunded.
No partial refund will generally be provided for individual missed camp days or for absence occurring after the camp has already started.
Cancellation by the Organiser
The organiser reserves the right to cancel the camp if the minimum number of participants is not reached, or due to force majeure circumstances. In such cases, the parent or guardian will be notified immediately, and the full paid camp fee will be refunded. The organiser is not responsible for any other costs incurred by the parent or guardian due to the cancellation.
